Scott McKenzie
Scott is a dual trained Cardiologist and Acute Adult Internal Medicine Physician. He works as a senior staff specialist The Prince Charles Hospital with the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Unit. He is senior lecturer at the University of Queensland. He's actively involved in heart failure research predominantly as the Principal Investigator for numerous industry lead multicentre studies (with 12 currently active trials) but also with smaller local investigator lead trials. He has extensive experience of Telehealth and Telemedicine provided to rural and remote areas and in 2015 had provided 20% of the entire country's cardiology telehealth. He's an active volunteer with St John Ambulance Queensland and has been the State Assistant Medical Officer.
