Sok Shin Yap
Dr Sok Shin Yap received her Doctor of Medicine in 2016 at the University of Melbourne. At the ANZSGM Annual Scientific Meeting 2022, was awarded the RM Gibson prize for her oral presentation titled "The effect of COVID-19 vaccination on 28-day all-cause mortality in SARS-CoV-2-infected older people living in residential aged care facilities". This work was subsequently published in the Internal Medicine Journal. Sok Shin has been a member of the ANZSGM Council where she chairs the Advanced Trainee Representative committee. Currently, she is a final year Advanced Trainee in Geriatric Medicine at Alfred Health, Victoria.
