Nicola Hogan
I am a Final Year Geriatric Medicine Advanced Trainee currently working as the Fellow at Austin Hospital in Melbourne. I completed my Basic Physician Training and 1st year of Geriatric Training at Eastern Health, before moving to St Vincent’s Hospital for my 2nd year. During the 2nd COVID-19 lock down in Victoria, I worked on one of the first COVID-19 Supportive Care Units. This ward was designed to care for displaced COVID-19 positive residents from Residential Aged Care Facilities with dementia and resultant behaviours that could not be safely managed with the required isolation mandates. I am passionate about improving the lives and management of people living with dementia.
