Ross Francis
I am a full-time nephrologist and transplant physician at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. I am passionate about improving the lives of people with kidney disease.
My clinical and research interests include:
- The application of novel therapies for glomerulonephritis and transplantation (including biological and cellular therapies)
- Frailty in patients with kidney disease
- Predicting and preventing progression of kidney disease
Currently I am:
- A member of the Renal Transplant Advisory Committee (Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand)
- A member of the Transplant Advisory Group (Organ and Tissue Authority)
- Chair and clinical lead of the Virtual Crossmatch Working Group (Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand)
