Paul Bird
Professor Paul Bird is a rheumatologist with extensive experience as a researcher and clinician, with particular expertise in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. He has a well-established research profile in clinical research. He is the chief medical officer at Emeritus Clinical Research in Sydney, a trial centre undertaking Phase 2, 3 and 4 clinical trials in inflammatory diseases. He has been Principal Investigator in over 100 clinical trials and continues to undertake Investigator Initiated Trials. He continues to undertake clinical practice working within a busy group practice in Sydney.
